Welcome to the open beta of the brand new Land Use Regulation Library, which aims to increase the accessibility of adopted land use regulations in unincorporated Sacramento County. The library is currently a work in progress. Daily maintenance is scheduled on weekdays from 7:30AM to 8:00AM and 4:30PM to 5:00PM. Trying to get a construction permit for a project in the Delta can be a frustrating experience because of complex and confusing local, State and Federal requirements. To help people with new construction, additions and renovation projects in the Delta, Sacramento County has published an online guide that will simplify and clarify the necessary steps to successfully plan projects and attain permits. Some of the chapters in this guide are also applicable to projects outside of the Delta.

The Applicant’s Guide for Projects in the Delta includes information, tips, links, and easy-to-understand graphics. The chapters contain links to additional information where applicable. Note that Chapters 2, 3 and 4 are applicable to the entire unincorporated County.
